Research is critical to solving the world’s most serious challenges, including threats posed by weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). To help spotlight the issue, we worked with NJIT’s Shomik Mukhopadhyay, a Ph.D. candidate in the field of chemical and materials engineering, to document and explain his research, which aims to reduce the threat posed by nuclear weapons.
