Working under the direction of Distinguished Professor Edward Dreizin in the Chemical and Materials Engineering department, Elif Senyurt and NJIT are part of a national alliance of universities funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. A Ph.D. candidate, Elif’s task as a researcher is to help the U.S. and its allies develop knowledge to combat the threat posed by chemical weapons. CN Foundry worked with Elif and Dr. Dreizin to document and describe that research.
