NJIT Materials Engineering Program Launches Careers NJIT
2026 NJIT graduate Pia Piazzi has always had her eyes fixed on clear goals. And throughout her years at NJIT she methodically checked off each achievement. An internship with a U.S. military arsenal. Another internship with Tesla Solar. Work in the lab under the guidance of a top faculty researcher. And after graduation: a job as an engineer with SpaceX. Piazzi is one of the first graduates of NJIT’s Materials Engineering program. And she’s a stand-out representative. We captured a snapshot of Pia’s story and worked with top leaders to produce a video that showcases her journey as well as the opportunities offered by the university’s Materials Engineering program.
