Every year, NJIT holds its Excellence in Research award ceremony. Some years the event also recognizes individual researchers with a Lifetime Achievement award. The purpose is to honor great work by NJIT senior researchers and to boost awareness nationally and internationally of the university’s growing research program. NJIT’s Office of University Advancement and the school’s Board of Visitors, which bestows the prize, commissioned CN Foundry to produce videos to profile the winners and showcase their work at the live award ceremony and via streaming video.
